Sew Grateful- A Tribute to Daleen Wilson

Although this chart is free here on my gumroad account, a few kind souls have been making donations. The intention behind this design was meant to help me cope and process through the loss of my dear friend, Daleen Wilson and so I do not feel comfortable profiting. After speaking with my husband & Bruce (AKA Mr. Right), I have decided to donate any money received (minus processing fees) to a charity that Daleen and Mr. Right are very passionate about, Til Valhalla Pronect. Please do not feel obligated to donate, I hope you find peace and joy as you stitch in remembrance of an incredible human being.

I woke this morning (August 3, 2024) to discover the loss of one of my dearest friends, Daleen Wilson of Sew Grateful. Her genuine positivity and kindness resonated and inspired all those who were blessed to have her in their lives. As I struggled with my grief I felt compelled to honor her memory with a design of her dog Mazie in a peaceful garden. She always knew just what to say to bring joy into the hearts of those around her and instill a calmness that transcended distance. I will always treasure the beautiful purple flowers she would send me, as her way of encouragement during a time when turmoil was prevalent in the world. With my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to her family, please know she was a shining light of hope and I cherished our friendship. #stitchingwithDaleen
